Cheap Wine

Your hands come to my neck
I tilt my head forward
Sighing
Letting you work out the knots.
It's not long
Before your lips take their place
Brushing up one side to my ear.
Butterflies take flight
I smile.

Your hands come down my shoulders
Then my arms
Until they're dipping in the soapy water
Layered over mine.
I know what you're going to do
Half a second before you press your hips
Tight to my low back.
I push back against you
Your growl skitters across my skin
Causing the butterflies to expand.

You murmur against my ear
As you pull my hands from the sink
Water going everywhere
Before you lift me up to sit on the counter
Spreading my legs to stand before me.
I laugh at your impatience
As you struggle to pull the gloves off
Then lean down to kiss you
Further distracting you.
You finally get them off
My hands wrapping around your neck
As you pull me in close to you,
Your hands wandering my waist.

You tell me you love me
As your lips and teeth rove my skin
Marking me as yours
In the most delicious ways.
Then you're lifting me from the counter
Your hands cradling my head and backside
My legs tight around your waist
Our lips fused to one another
As you walk us to the couch.
Then you're giving me all of you
While I give you everything I have
Needing you like nothing I've had before.

Having you here,
Not clear across the country,
Has made us both delirious -
We can't get enough.
Skin on skin
Shatters phone calls and texts,
You here
Taking me higher
As you show me just what your love is
Neither of us could have prepared for this.
