Let It Slide
You turn the light off,
Candlelight flickering across your chest,
As you saunter towards me,
Slow and deliberate.
I watch you from the bed
And smile my encouragement,
My eyes challenging you to go faster.
You shake your head and smile,
Amused.
So I bite the tip of my tongue,
My lips parting,
And you're not slow anymore.
Suddenly, you're before me,
Skin to skin
And it's like honey dripping down my chest,
As you do what no one else can,
Your lips,
Your hands,
Slowly bringing everything in me to life.
Candlelight flickering across your chest,
As you saunter towards me,
Slow and deliberate.
I watch you from the bed
And smile my encouragement,
My eyes challenging you to go faster.
You shake your head and smile,
Amused.
So I bite the tip of my tongue,
My lips parting,
And you're not slow anymore.
Suddenly, you're before me,
Skin to skin
And it's like honey dripping down my chest,
As you do what no one else can,
Your lips,
Your hands,
Slowly bringing everything in me to life.
