Cave Dancing

The blinds are drawn,
Attempting to keep the heat out.
But as I stand at the sink,
Gloves, soap, and dish in hand,
Swaying to a song,
I feel your arms wrap around my waist.
I lean into your touch,
As you begin to sway
With me in your arms.
In this moment,
With no prying eyes,
You holding me
As I do something so mundane,
I fall a little more in love.
And all I can think,
As we're in our makeshift cave,
Is I wouldn't mind if we never left.
